Sponsorship Opportunities 2013/14
The King Island Racing Club provides businesses with the opportunity to raise their profile to the community and visitors through sponsorship on any of the seven TAB race meetings held each season.

The Club offers a variety of packages for sponsors and maximum exposure through signage, race books, official websites and some Tasmanian daily newspapers.

Available Packages 2013/14

A. FULL FEATURE DAY SPONSOR
A full feature day is a day allocated to a consortium of sponsors that each contributes $1650 including a trophy per race. The Full Feature Day consortium will receive:

• Naming rights to each race.
• Half page advertisement (individual sponsors) in race book on feature day.
• Banner display for each sponsor on feature day.
• Voiceover on feature day.
• Trophy provided and presented on the day by the sponsors nominated representative.
• National coverage in press and official racing websites.
• Framed photos of the winners of each race.
• Full season membership for two.
• Rugs provided and embroidered with the sponsors details for race winners.

In addition to the above, the principle of the consortium will also receive naming rights of the day and the abilitiy to host visitors in a marquee at their own expense (marquee provided). The KIRC will provide twenty free admission tickets to the consortium principle.



B. MAJOR RACE SPONSOR
A major race sponsor will be expected to contribute an amount of $3,300 including a trophy. Each major race sponsor will receive:

• Naming rights to the major race.
• Full page advertisement in the racebook on major race day.
• Quarter page advertisement on all other race days.
• Banner display on race day.
• Voiceover on race day.
• Trophy provided and presented on the day by the sponsors nominated representative.
• National coverage in press and official racing websites.
• Framed photo of race winner..
• Full season membership for two.
• Rugs provided and embroidered with the sponsor details for race winner.

There are currently two major races during each carnival, the Pacing and Galloping Cups. However, it is recognised that the Pacing Championship, Sprint Cup and the Bracelet are major race opportunities.



C. SINGLE RACE SPONSOR
A single race sponsor will be expected to contribute $1,650 including a trophy. Each single race sponsor will receive:

• Naming rights to the individual race.
• Half page advertisement (individual sponsors) in race book on feature day.
• Banner display on race day.
• Voiceover on raceday.
• Trophy provided and presented on the day by the sponsors nominated representative.
• National coverage in press and official racing websites.
• Framed photo of race winner.
• Entry and race books for two.

D. MINOR RACE SPONSOR (subject to availability)
A minor race sponsor will be expected to contribute $550. Each minor race sponsor will receive:

• Advertisement in race book on feature day.
• National coverage in press and official racing websites (if race naming rights issued by KIRC).
